| "I just finished building a metal shop way back in the woods where I have very little cell phone service. Standing on top of the 23 foot metal roof, I have about two bars, and at ground level I have maybe one bar. I first tried one of these cell phone extenders you see at Radio Shack, I thought it was worth a shot since it was fairly inexpensive. That system did somewhat improve the signal, it just wasn't enough to provide signal throughout the 4,000 SF shop.
